  From waste to school ...

We introduced our project to Şakir Lakşe Primary School 4 / C class parents. The classroom teacher Rabia YILMAZ DERİN gave information about the project. The project received the permits. Şakir Lakşe İlkokulu 4/C sınıfı velilerine projemizi tanıttık. Sınıf öğretmeni Rabia YILMAZ DERİN proje hakkında bilgi verdi. Proje izin belgelerini aldı.  

  Thanks to our project, our students learn to use web2 tools. They designed beautiful posters and logos for our project. Projemiz sayesinde öğrencilerimiz web2 araçlarını kullanmayı öğreniyorlar. Projemiz için bir birinden güzel afiş ve logo tasarladılar.

  Uğurcan Ölmez and Günnur Sönmezler visited me at my school and inform me about how to handle eTwinning project. They helped me to find partners. Then when we reached enough number we met on zoom and twinspace online meeting platform with the projects partners. It was so informative.

 I gave information to my students and their parents about e safety. I got parental leave certificate. I prepared board about e safety with my students. They used computer under my supervision. After that I made a video and my partners wacthed it with their students.

First we draw what we have in mind. Then ı inform parents to install canva and how to use it. They helped my students desing poster and logo on canva. They were great. Here are some photos while working on them. These are the logo and poster selected after being voted on mentimeter.

 We must do something! Although the habit of throwing plastic wastes into the nature has decreased a little with the environmental awareness that has developed in recent years, some still do not pay attention to this issue. It takes centuries for the plastic thrown into nature to dissolve. So what is the plastic waste and its effects on the environment? Although it is extremely difficult to determine the proportion of plastic waste in the seas, many scientists state that 8 million tons of plastic waste is dumped into the seas every year. The current amount of plastic waste in the seas is thought to be 150 million tons. According to these figures, plastic waste is left to the seas every second, as much as a garbage truck can carry. What is even worse is that this figure will increase as the use of plastic increases .Ocean Conservancy estimates that within 10 years the amount of plastic waste in the sea will reach 250 million tons, and by 2050, there will be more plastic than fish ...

There is a way to stop this. We can do something to reuse plastics or other waste. Create teaching materials using them and help students learn easier, help the planet get better.
